How it all Began

The Wild Nettle Co. journey began early in 2020, with an idea to harness the benefits and healing properties of Stinging Nettles to help treat our son’s itchy & inflamed skin caused by eczema.

THE WILD NETTLE CO. began and remains a small family business driven by a passion for natural remedies – and a drive to help other eco-conscious women look after themselves and their families, naturally.

We create uncomplicated yet effective products, that are affordable, kind to the planet, and safe for the whole family.

Our Process to get the Nettle Benefits

Stinging nettles are sustainably harvested, dried, infused in oil, and then lovingly handcrafted in small batches into beautiful Nettle products – all from our workshop in rural Scotland.

To get the best Nettle Benefits, we blend our nettle-infused oil with a variety of all-natural ingredients and carefully selected herbs & botanicals, so you won’t find any nasties in our finished products.

A little more about Me

Hi, I’m Bronwyn, I grew up in South Africa but love now living in Scotland. I’m a creative being, an eco-warrior, devoted wife and nurturing, loving mum of 2 young children.

We moved to the UK in 2014, and after being a stay at home mum and out of the workplace for more than 7 years I wanted to do something meaningful and create something but still be able to work around my family, and help others to achieve wellness naturally, the way I had for myself and my family.

I have always had an interest in natural remedies, holistic therapies, and herbal medicine – and have always sought out a natural alternative to diet or lifestyle, or old wives tale, ancient or herbal remedy in order to deal with mine and my family’s ailments.

I love being able to offer help and advice with what I’ve learned, and I can really relate to other women and mums who feel the enormous responsibility to take care of their families with the best that nature has to offer.
